| Each player who participates receives the amount of profit for his or her child’s soccer club needs! Read on to see how you can benefit with your normal monthly purchases. |
| How does SCRIP work? |
UnitedScrip purchases millions of dollars worth of gift certificates (SCRIP) yearly from national vendors. Our club, ETSF, purchases these same certificates from UnitedScrip at a discount. We in turn offer this SCRIP to our parents and friends at face value. You receive dollar for dollar the value of cash for these items. Example: a $50 Food City gift certificate will purchase $50 of groceries from Food City . IT’S THAT SIMPLE ! Take a look at the order form and think about your normal upcoming purchases. Where will you shop this week? Where will you eat out? What essentials will you need? Does the car need gas? Do I need a gift? Who has a birthday party coming up? Who needs shoes? What groceries do we need? It is that simple! | How Do I Obtain SCRIP Order Forms |
| You can download order forms from ETSF’s website Main SCRIP page or ask your Team’s SCRIP Contact for a form. If ETSF families want to ask their own families and/or friends to purchase SCRIP certificates, then have each family fill out a separate SCRIP order form and turn it in with your order to your Team’s SCRIP Contact (no one else can accept an individual family’s order). |
| Do the stores give change? |
| Each store is different. Most will give 10% of the value of the certificate, or issue you a new certificate for the balance. Debit cards hold the balance until you use it again. |
| Do the certificates have an expiration date? |
| UnitedScrip guards against sending certificates that are near expiration. Certificates usually have a 1 –2 year expiration date, if any. |
