Mission
The purpose of The East Tennessee Soccer Federation is to develop the youth athlete into the best possible soccer player while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment, and to promote soccer in Northeast Tennessee.
 
ETSF Contributions
The East Tennessee Soccer Federation is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth soccer in Northeast Tennessee and to developing the best youth soccer player through individual training, commitment and teamwork. For over 20 years, ETSF has supported local club, recreational and school soccer programs as well as the development and training of coaches.
  • ETSF has an ongoing major economic impact to the City of Johnson City and the Tri-Cities region. With its 20 year history, ETSF has been credited as the largest monetary contributor second only to the Bristol Motor Speedway.
  • ETSF has purchased soccer goals for the City of Johnson City in excess of $20,000.
  • ETSF provides coaching clinics for the City of Johnson City Parks & Recreation coaches by a licensed/certified trainer.
  • ETSF annually provides coaches and/or referees to the City of Johnson City Parks & Recreation fall soccer program.
  • ETSF annually contributes in excess of $1500.00 to the City of Johnson City to supplement referee payment for the fall soccer program.
  • ETSF has provided and participated in the seed, sod, sewing of grass and field maintenance, in excess of $33,000.00.
  • ETSF provides ongoing replacement netting of goals for the City of Johnson City.
  • ETSF contributes financially and materialistically to several organizations within the City of Johnson City, including, Haven of Mercy, Salvation Army, The Ronald McDonald House, several area high schools, and the City of Johnson City.
  • ETSF makes available to the City of Johnson City soccer camps directed by international players and coaches with scholarships readily available.
  • ETSF has implemented a play time atmosphere with its first year of Summer Street Soccer in Johnson City”. An adult supervised kick around, opened to anyone who wants to play at the city park.
  • ETSF provides coaching clinics open to the public of Johnson City. In the past, with MLS Chicago Fire’s, C.J. Brown and most recently with the head coach of the 2003 A League Champions, Coach Chris Ramsey.
  • ETSF has made food donations to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee
  • ETSF provides the Indoor Soccer Facility as the new home of the Bocce Games for Special Olympics of Johnson City & Washington County
  • ETSF has made a contribution to Eternity's Call, a soccer program for underprivileged youth in Comayagua, Honduras
